Unique Pet Portraits Crafted Exclusively for You
To be able to create something that will last a lifetime, and bring joy to my clients every time they see it, is an incredibly fulfilling experience. If you are looking for a personalised gift for yourself, family or friends, I would be honored to create a beautiful pet portrait for you.
Working with my clients is a joy for me, as I get to know their pets and their unique personalities. Whether it's a traditional portrait or a themed one, I work with my clients to make sure that their vision is captured on canvas.
How It Works...
Step 1. Select a Size
Decide on the size and shape of your portrait! Whether you prefer Square or Rectangle, Small or Large, check out my example images to find the perfect fit for your wall space. If you’re uncertain, I’m happy to offer some suggestions.
Step 2. Choose a Photo
Select some of your favorite photos of your pet, or take new ones. Remember, higher quality images yield better results! Refer to my helpful photo tips below for guidance on what makes an ideal reference photo for painting.
Step 3. Place an Order
Submit your order using the form below! Allow me to bring your pet to life on canvas. The turnaround time is approximately 4-8 weeks, but it can sometimes be quicker. If you're local, I will deliver your artwork free of charge. For those living interstate or internationally, your artwork will be securely shipped.
Helpful Photography Tips...
**Light** Ensure you're taking photos in a well-lit area, whether indoors or outdoors. Natural light is always preferable; try shooting during the morning or afternoon for the best results.
**Profile** Capture your pet at their eye level instead of from above. This perspective often yields the most flattering results. Experiment with various angles—front-facing, slightly to the side, or a profile shot—to discover which one turns out best.
**Mood**
Aim to have your pet looking directly at the camera. Using treats or a squeaky toy can help guide their attention, so hold them close to the camera for direction.
**Position** Many positions can work well, but having your pet sit often produces great results. You can also pose them standing or lying down for variety.
**Capture** Make sure to focus on your pet’s eyes, as this area should be the sharpest for maximum detail.
**Flash** It’s best to avoid the camera’s built-in flash, as it can create unwanted shadows.
**Edit** Remove harnesses when possible; collars can enhance portraits. Just ensure the name tag is positioned front and center for a neat look.
**Photo Options** The more photos you take, the more options you'll have! This increases the chances of capturing the perfect pet portrait.
